Storage Conditions	Store at -80C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature. During shipment, small volumes of PSAT1 recombinant protein will occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial. For products with volumes of 200 ul or less, we recommend gently tapping the vial on a hard surface or briefly centrifuging the vial in a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container’s cap.

Description	PSAT1 is likely a phosphoserine aminotransferase, based on similarity to proteins in mouse, rabbit, and Drosophila. It belongs to class-V of pyridoxal-phosphate-dependent aminotransferases and is required both in major phosphorylated pathway of serine biosynthesis and in the biosynthesis of pyridoxine.
