Storage Conditions	Lyophilized product is very stable at -20C. Reconstituted material should be aliquoted and frozen at -20C. It is recommended that a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) is added for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Please note that the addition of any carrier protein into this product may produce unwanted endotoxin. This depends upon the particular application employed.

Description	Resistin-Like Molecule-beta (RELM- beta) is a member of a recently identified family of secreted proteins containing conserved cysteines in their C terminus. The RELM family consists of Resistin (also called FIZZ3), RELM-alpha (FIZZ1), and RELM-gamma. Only Resistin and RELM-beta have been identified in humans whereas all four RELM family members have been identified in rodents. Recombinant mouse RELM-beta is a non-glycosylated protein, containing 83 amino acids.
Formulation	Recombinant mouse RELM-beta is sterile filtered and lyophilized from 10 mM acetic acid (AcOH).
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. When reconstituting the product, gently pipet and wash down the sides of the vial to ensure full recovery of the protein into solution. It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized product with sterile water at a concentration of 0.1 mg/mL, which can be further diluted into other aqueous solutions.
Biological Activity	A standard activity has not been determined.
Endotoxin Level	Measured by kinetic LAL analysis and is typically <= 1 EU/ug protein.
