Hlxb9 is a transcription factor and is expressed in the early developing pancreas and mature ? cells in Langerhans islands, but there are still many unknown mechanisms about it. Since the development of dorsal pancreas is inhibited in Hlxb9 knockout mice, it is elucidated that it is indispensable for the development of the pancreas. This antibody was produced using a partial peptide of mouse Hlxb9 as an antigen. It can be used for immunostaining and is expected to be useful for research about the functions and development of the pancreas.
