Manufacturer - Applications	The ED50 as determined by dose-dependent stimulation ofthe proliferation of mouse 7TD1 is <10ng/ml, corresponding to a specificactivity of 1 x 105 IU/mg. Each laboratory should determine anoptimum working titer for use in its particular application. Otherapplications have not been tested but use in such assays should notnecessarily be excluded.
Storage Conditions	The lyophilized product, though stablefor 3 weeks at room temperature, is best stored at -20°C. Afterreconstitution, short term (up to 1 week) store at 2–8oC. Long term, add 0.1%HSA or BSA, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.

Antigen Description	Interleukin11(IL-11) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the IL11 gene. IL-11 is amultifunctional cytokine first isolated in 1990 from bone marrow-derivedstromal cells. It is a key regulator of multiple events in hematopoiesis, most notably the stimulation of megakaryocyte maturation. It is also knownunder the names adipogenesis inhibitory factor (AGIF) and oprelvekin.
