Background	4ATS2/9.1 reacts with 55-70 kDa CD58, lymphocyte function-associated antigen (LFA-3). It is expressed in hematipoietic and non-hematopoietic tissue including leukocytes, erythrocytes, endothelial cells, epithelial cells and fibroblasts.CD58 mediates adhesion between killer and target cells, antigen presenting cells and T cells, thymocytes and thymic epithelial cells. It also provides co-stimulatory signal in immune response.
