Background	trkA is a protein encoded by the NTRK1 gene. The trkA kinase is a high affinity membrane bound receptor for Nerve Growth Factor, that phosphorylates itself and members of the MAPK pathway when a neurotrophin binds. It's presence leads to cell differentiation and specificity of sensory neuron subtypes. Mutations of this gene lead to self-mutilating behavior, mental retardation, and cancer.
Highlights	Fully configured colorimetric ELISA kit in sandwich fomat. Natural - purified protien provided as standard. Assay range: 156pg/ml-10, 000pg/ml. Validated for cell culture medium, serum and plasma.
