Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography on Protein A.

Is a single chain transmembrane glycoprotein of 50kD expressed by T cells NK cells and thymocytes. CD2 is a receptor for CD58 (LFA-3) and is important in mediating the interaction between T cells and target cells or antigen presenting cells.

CD2 interacts with lymphocyte function-associated antigen (LFA-3) and CD48/BCM1 to mediate adhesion between T-cells and other cell types.
