AZT triphosphate TEA exhibits antiretroviral activity and inhibits replication of HIV. AZT triphosphate TEA also inhibits the DNA polymerase of HBV. AZT triphosphate TEA activates the mitochondria-mediated apoptosis pathway[1][2][3].
