TCCR deficient mice have impaired responses of T helper cells (Th1) to protein antigens including decreased levels of IFN- gamma and Th1-dependent antibody production. TCCR is predominantly expressed in thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, and peripheral blood lymphocytes.
