Description	N-myc downstream regulated gene (NDRG) -1 is one of 4 members of the NDRG alpha/beta-hydrolase family. This protein is classified in databases as a tumor suppressor and heavy metal-response protein. Its functions include cell-cycle regulation, cellular differentiation, apoptosis, hypoxia response and metal-ion sensing. Mutation in the NDRG1 gene has been reported to be causative for hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy-Lom (HMSNL), a severe autosomal recessive form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease.

IF Comment	ICC/IF analysis of NDRG1 in HeLa cells. The cell was stained with ATGA0401 (1:100). The secondary antibody (green) was used Alexa Fluor 488. DAPI was stained the cell nucleus (blue).
WB Comment	The cell lysates (40ug) were resolved by SDS-PAGE, transferred to PVDF membrane and probed with anti-human NDRG1 antibody (1:1000). Proteins were visualized using a goat anti-mouse secondary antibody conjugated to HRP and an ECL detection system.
