Description	VCAM1, also known as vascular cell adhesion protein 1, is a receptor for encephalomyocarditis virus on murine vascular endothelial cells. It has been identified as a receptor for the D variant of encephalomyocarditis (EMC-D) virus on vascular endothelial cells from the heart. Recombinant mouse VCAM1, fused to His-tag at C-terminus, was expressed in insect cell and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
