Applications Notes	CheKine™ Micro Starch Branching Enzyme(SBE) Activity Assay Kit provides a convenient tool for detection of Starch Branching Enzyme(SBE). The principle is that amylose and iodine combine to have characteristic light absorption at 660 nm, SBE reduces amylose content, thus reducing the absorption value of starch - iodine complex at 660 nm, the percentage of absorbance decline within a certain time can reflect the SBE activity.
