Alkaline Phosphatase/ALPG protein is an enzyme that hydrolyzes phosphomonoesters under alkaline conditions to release inorganic phosphate. Alkaline Phosphatase is involved in processes such as bone mineralization and intestinal phosphate absorption, and exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. Alkaline Phosphatase/ALPG protein, Human (HEK293, His), is a recombinant Alkaline Phosphatase/ALPG protein expressed in HEK293 cells and tagged with a C-terminal His tag[1].
