Introduction	ITGAL encodes the integrin alpha L chain. Integrins are heterodimeric integral membrane proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. This I-domain containing alpha integrin combines with the beta 2 chain (ITGB2) to form the integrin lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1), which is expressed on all leukocytes. LFA-1 plays a central role in leukocyte intercellular adhesion through interactions with its ligands, ICAMs 1-3 (intercellular adhesion molecules 1 through 3), and also functions in lymphocyte costimulatory signaling.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Immunogen	Enriched mouse peritoneal macrophages.
Purification Method	Ion exchange column.
Protein concentration	1mg/ml in PBS (after reconstitution)
Antibody Properties	Staining and blocking antibody. For staining, use 10ul/1, 000, 000 cells. This antibody will block signaling through the CD11a molecule. Titer for blocking should be determined by the investigator.
Reconstitution	Reconstitute with of H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.
Storage	Lyophilized: store at 4C. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20C.
