Introduction	Beta-casein precursor (CSN2) is a member of the beta-casein family. CSN2 has an imperative role in determination of the surface properties of the casein micelles. CSN2 is specific to mammary glands and is secreted in milk.
Description	CSN2 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 236 amino acids (16-226 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 26.6kDa. CSN2 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Physical Appearance	Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Formulation	CSN2 protein solution (0.25mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol, 0.5M NaCl, 0.25M imidazole, 1mM DTT and 0.1mM PMSF.
Purity	Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Store at 4C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
