Description	Recombinant Biotinylated Human Integrin alpha V beta 8 (ITGAV&ITGB8) Heterodimer Protein is expressed from HEK293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-Terminus of ITGAV.It contains Phe31-Val992(ITGAV) acidic tail and Glu43-Arg684(ITGB8) basic tail.
Background	Deletions of the genes encoding the integrin αVβ8 (Itgav, Itgb8) have been shown to result in abnormal vascular development in the CNS, including prenatal and perinatal hemorrhage. Other work has indicated that a major function of this integrin in vivo is to promote TGFβ activation.
Endotoxin	Less than 1 EU per μg by the LAL method.
Formulation	Lyophilized from 0.22μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 8% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization.
Reconstitution	Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500μg or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
