Product Description	Vascular cell adhesion molecule 1, also known as VCAM1 is an immunoglobulin-like adhesion molecule expressed on activated endothelial cells.1 This type I membrane protein mediates leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion and signal transduction, and may play a role in the development of artherosclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis. VCAM-1 promotes the adhesion of lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils.
Formulation	This recombinant protein was 0.2 µm filtered and lyophilized from modified Dulbecco’s phosphate buffered saline (1X PBS) pH 7.2 – 7.3 with no calcium, magnesium, or preservatives
