Recombinant Human Pro-Neurotrophin-3/pro-NT3

Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20C for 3 months.

Recombinant Human pro-Neurotrophin-3 is produced by our E.coli expression system & the target gene encoding Asn19-Thr257 is expressed.

Pro-Neurotrophin-3 (pro-NT3) is the precursor form of Neurotrophin-3. Pro-NT3 interacts preferentially with the pan-neurotrophin receptor p75 (p75NTR) & vps10p domain-containing receptor sortilin & induces neuronal apoptosis, whereas mature NT3 selectively binds with high affinity to the TrkB kinase receptor & promotes the survival, growth & differentiation of neurons. As proneurotrophins & mature neurotrophins elicit opposite biological effects, Pro-BDNF cleavage in the neuronal system is regulated in a specific & cell-context dependent manner.

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
