[Novoprotein] Recombinant Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 6/FGF-6

Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20C for 3 months.

Recombinant Human Fibroblast Growth Factor 6 is produced by our E.coli expression system & the target gene encoding Gly41-Ile208 is expressed.

Fibroblast Growth Factor 6 (FGF-6) is a secreted protein member of the heparin-binding growth factors family. FGF family members possess broad mitosis & cell survival activities & are involved in a variety of biological processes. Affinity between fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) & their receptors is increased by heparan sulfate glycosaminoglycans that function as coreceptors. FGF6 plays an important role in the regulation of cell proliferation, cell differentiation, angiogenesis & myogenesis, & is required for normal muscle regeneration.

Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting.
It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
