Lyophilized protein should be stored at < -20C, though stable at room temperature for 3 weeks.
Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 4-7C for 2-7 days.
Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at < -20C for 3 months.

Recombinant Human ASM-like phosphodiesterase 3a is produced by our Mammalian expression system & the target gene encoding Leu23-Tyr453 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.

Acid sphingomyelinase-like phosphodiesterase 3a (SMPDL3A ) is a novel liver X receptor (LXR) -regulated gene, with an LXR response element within its promoter. The induction of SMPDL3A is LXR-dependent & is restricted to human blood cells with no induction observed in mouse cellular systems. LXR function as physiological sensors of cholesterol metabolites (oxysterols), regulating key genes involved in cholesterol & lipid metabolism. LXRs have been extensively studied in both human & rodent cell systems, revealing their potential therapeutic value in the contexts of atherosclerosis & inflammatory diseases.

It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml.
Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O.
