Description	Recombinant Biotinylated Human PLAU/uPA Protein (active form) is expressed from HEK293 with His tag and Avi tag at the C-Terminus.It contains Ser21-Leu431, which consists of two chains: Long chain A (Ser21-Phe177) and chain B (Ile179-Leu 431). The long chain A is further cleaved to yield a short chain A (Lys156-Phe 177) and N-Terminus fragment (Ser21-Lys155).
Background	Plasminogen activator, urokinase (uPA) is a secreted serine protease whose Dysregulation is often accompanied by various cancers. PLAU inhibition could suppress tumor growth. Collectively, PLAU is necessary for tumor progression and can be a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker in HNSCC.

Formulation	Supplied as 0.22μm filtered solution in 20mM NaAc, 150mM NaCl (pH 5.0).
Reconstitution	Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. It is recommended to resuspend at 0.5 mg/mL if the lyophilized powder is 100 μg or less, at 1mg/ml for 500μg or 1mg lyophilized powder. Do not mix by vortex or vigorous shaking.
