Supplied as a liquid in 20mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 0.4M urea, 10% glycerol.

The APOBEC4 is a member of the AID/APOBEC family of polynucleotide (deoxy)cytidine deaminases, which convert cytidine to uridine. Other AID/APOBEC family members are involved in Mrna editing, somatic hypermutation and recombination of immunoglobulin genes, and innate immunity to retroviral infection.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
