Supplied as a liquid in 20mM phosphate, pH 8.0, 10% glycerol.

FuCA2 is a plasma alpha-L-fucosidase, which represents 10-20% of the total cellular fucosidase activity. This protein is a member of the glycosyl hydrolase 29 family, and catalyzes the hydrolysis of the alpha-1, 6-linked fucose joined to the reducing-end N-acetylglucosamine of the carbohydrate moieties of glycoproteins. FuCA2 is essential for Helicobacter pylori adhesion to human gastric cancer cells.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 6 months after receipt at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
