Description	p53 or TP53 is a cell cycle related transcription factor that promotes transcription of genes that induce cell cycle arrest or apoptosis in response to DNA damage or other cell stresses.This tumour suppressor gene is mutated in about half of all human cancers.Recombinant Anti p53 produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing a hexahistidine tag and having a molecular weight of 37 kDa.p53 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
