CD147

CD147 (Neurothelin) is a 50-60kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein primarily expressed on all leukocytes, red blood cells, platelets and
endothelial cells; it is not expressed by resting lymphocytes. CD147 (basigin, neurothelin, OX-47, 5A11, CE9, M6) also known as EMMPRIN (extracellular matrix metalloproteinase inducer) or TCSF (tumor
cell-derived collagenase-stimulatory factor) is an ubiquitously expressed cell surface protein with multiple glycosylated forms. The highest level of CD147 expression is on metabolically active cells, such as lymphoblasts, inflammatory cells, brown adipocytes and malignant tumor cells.

C2548-80G is a high-affinity antibody capable of binding to unstimulated peripheral blood T cells.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry and Immunoprecipitation. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 10ug/ml
Western Blot: 1ug/ml, non-reducing conditions.
Immunohistochemistry (paraffin): 10ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
