Fusion protein mouse CD147dO-2rCD4d3 +4

CD147 (50-60kD) has a wide tissue distribution on hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells including leukocytes, red blood cells, platelets and endothelial cells. As a potential adhesion molecule, CD147 may be involved in embryonic blood-brain barrier development and in integrin-mediated adhesion in brain endothelia. The reported functions of CD147 are diverse and include involvement in T-cell activation, cell adhesion and induction of matrix metalloproteinases.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Flow Cytometry: 1:25-1:50; Use 10ul to label 10e6 cells in 100ul. Antibody is routinely tested in FC on mouse splenocytes. Note that for staining of whole blood samples, increased amounts of antibody may be required due to the presence of CD147 on erythrocytes.
Immunohistochemstry: Frozen sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
