Description |
The Hepatitis A Virus (HAV) Antibody, IgM, BioAssay™ ELISA Kit is for the qualitative determination of human anti-hepatitis A virus (HAV) antibody (IgM) concentrations in serum.
Principle of the Assay: This ELISA Kit employs the qualitative enzyme immunoassay technique. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with anti-human IgM. Samples are pipetted into the wells and then human anti-HAV antibody (IgM) in samples is captured. After wash, add HAV antigen conjugated to Horseradish peroxidase (HRP) into the wells. Following a wash to remove any unbound reagent, a substrate solution is added to the wells. The color development is stopped and the intensity of the color is measured.
Specificity: This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of human anti-HAV antibody (IgM). No significant cross-reactivity or interference between human anti-HAV antibody (IgM) and analogues was observed.
Precision: Intra-assay Precision: CV <15% Inter-assay Precision: CV <15%
