Each slide contains a tissue array of 64 spots. There are 30 different tissues arrayed in duplicates on a single positively charged glass slide. Each array contains human adult placenta tissue as a positive control and a paraffin blank as a negative control.

Each slide ontains the following tissues:
Adipose, Bladder, Brain, Cerebellum, Breast, Colon, Diaphragm, Duodenum, Esophagus, Gallbladder, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Ovary, Pancreas, Placenta, Rectum, Skeletal muscle, Skin, Ileum, Jejunum, Spleen, Stomach, Testis, Thymus, Thyroid, Tonsil, Uterus, Cervix

Tissues were fixed in formalin after excision, and embedded in paraffin. Paraffin tissue arrays are 5-10um in thickness, and mounted on positively charged glass slides. Each tissue sample is about 2mm in diameter. A reference chart shows all the tissue names and their respective position on the array. This product can be used for both immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. It is an ideal product for rapid cellular localization of RNA and protein expression.

Quality Control:
1) 5 representative tissue arrays from each lot were selected to be stained with H&E to ensure the consistent image.
2) 5 representative tissue arrays from each lot were selected to be immunostained by b-actin monoclonal antibody. The images were consistent.
3) 2 representative tissue arrays from each lot were selected to do in situ hybridization with b-actin probe.

Note: Every single tissue array is well maintained with good quality, but there might be some variations between slides, for example, one spot might be missing cells due to the end of serial cut. But there should be no more than 3 spots are without expected cells.

Storage Condition:
Store dry at room temperature or at 4°C for long term storage.

Shelf Life:
One year from the date of receipt under proper storage condition.
