Preparation	Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure recombinant Human IL-8. Anti-Human IL-8 specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized Human IL-8 matrix.
WesternBlot	To detect Human IL-8 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 µ g/ml. When used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, the detection limit for recombinant Human IL-8 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions.
Sandwich	To detect Human IL-8 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 μ l/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 μ g/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with BioGems' Biotinylated Anti-Human IL-8 (60-008BT) as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant Human IL-8.
Immunohistochemistry	This antibody stained formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections of normal human skin. The recommended concentrations are 1.0 μ g/ml for two hours at room temperature or 0.25 μ g/ml overnight at 4° C. An HRP-labeled polymer detection system was used with a non-alcohol soluble AEC chromogen and a proteinase K antigen retrieval. Neutralization	To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND₅₀] of the biological activity of Human IL-8 (100ng/ml), a concentration of 2.0 - 3.0 µ g/ml of this antibody is required.
Formulation	A sterile filtered antibody solution was lyophilized from PBS, pH 7.2.
Reconstitution	Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml.
