Description	Rabbit IgG polyclonal antibody for Serum paraoxonase/arylesterase 2(PON2) detection. Tested with WB in Human.
Protein Function	Capable of hydrolyzing lactones and a number of aromatic carboxylic acid esters. Has antioxidant activity. Is not associated with high density lipoprotein. Prevents LDL lipid peroxidation, reverses the oxidation of mildly oxidized LDL, and inhibits the ability of MM-LDL to induce monocyte chemotaxis. .
Subcellular Localization	Membrane ; Peripheral membrane protein .
Tissue Specificity	Widely expressed with highest expression in liver, lung, placenta, testis and heart. .

Immunogen	A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the C-terminus of human PON2 (241-273aa AHEIHVLEKHTNMNLTQLKVLELDTLVDNLSID), different from the related mouse and rat sequences by four amino acids.
Purification	Immunogen affinity purified.
Cross Reactivity	No cross reactivity with other proteins.
Storage	At -20?C for one year. After r?Constitution, at 4?C for one month. It?Can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20?C for a longer time.Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
