Sonic Hedgehog plays a role in cell growth, cell specialization, and the normal shaping (patterning) of the body. Recombinant, mouseSonic Hedgehog(rmShh), produced in, E.coli, is a single non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 176 amino acids.
