Human CD8CD8 is a 32 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein expressed as either a CD8 homodimer or CD8 heterodimer. It is expressed on the ?cytotoxic/suppressor? subpopulation of peripheral T cells. CD8 functions primarily as a coreceptor with MHC Class I-restricted TCR\' s in antigen recognition. ^1-2

Reagents contain sodium azide which is very toxic if ingested or inhaled. Avoid contact with skin eyes or clothing. Wear eye or face protection when handling. If skin or eye contact occurs wash with copious amounts of water. If ingested or inhaled contact a physician immediately. Sodium azide yields toxic hydrazoic acid under acidic conditions.
