Description	InvivoChem Cat #:V1707CAS #:356-12-7 Purity >=98% Description: Fluocinonide (trade names: Topsyn, Vanos, Lonide) is a potent glucocorticoid/corticosteroid that is used topically as an anti-inflammatory agent for the treatment of skin disorders such as seborrhoeic dermatitis and eczema. Fluocinonide cream has a lower potential to produce atrophic changes of the skin than either clobetasol cream or clobetasol propionate foam. It relieves itching, redness, dryness, crusting, scaling, inflammation, and discomfort. Fluocinonide belongs to the so-called 'high-potency' (second-highest rank) topical corticosteroid.
