Description: Protirelin (Thyrel TRH) is a novel, potent and highly conserved neuropeptide that exerts the hormonal control of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) levels as well as neuromodulatory functions. Protirelin is used to treat hypothyroidism by stimulating the release of a hormone called thyroid-stimulating hormone, or TSH, from the anterior pituitary gland.
