Introduction	Glutamate-cysteine ligase (GCLM) is the first rate limiting enzyme of glutathione synthesis. The GCLM enzyme is comprised of 2 subunits, a heavy catalytic subunit and a light regulatory subunit. GCLM deficiency is associated with some forms of hemolytic anemia.
Usage	ProSpec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
Immunogen	Anti-human GCLM mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human GCLM amino acids 1-274 purified from E. coli.
Purification Method	GCLM antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
Storage	For periods up to 1 month store at 4C, for longer periods of time, store at -20C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
