Description	Recombinant Human Regenerating islet-derived protein 4 is produced by our Mammalian expression system & the target gene encoding Asp23-Pro158 is expressed with a 6His tag at the C-terminus.
Formulation	Lyophilized from a 0.2 um filtered solution of 20mM PB, 150mM NaCl, pH 7.2.
Background	REG4 is a secreted contains one C-type lectin domain, high expressed in the gastrointestinal tract, including jejunum, ileum, appendix, pancreas & small intestine. REG4 can be up-regulated by mucosal injury from active Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis. In the acid environment, REG4 can maintain carbohydrate recognition activity. REG4 may be involved in inflammatory & metaplastic response of the gastrointestinal epithelium.
Endotoxin	Less than 0.1 ng/ug (1 IEU/ug) as determined by LAL test.
Reconstitution	Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100 ug/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in ddH2O. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
