Description	Recombinant Human Angiopoietin-2/ANG-2/ANGPT2(275-496) Protein is produced by mammalian expression system. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Lys275-Phe496) of human Angiopoietin-2/ANGPT2 (Accession #O15123) fused with 6xHis at the C-terminus.
Background	Angiopoietin-2 (Ang-2; also ANGPT2) is a secreted glycoprotein that plays a complex role in angiogenesis and inflammation . Mature Ang-2 is 478 amino acids in length.Ang2 is widely expressed during development, but it is restricted postnatally to highly angiogenic tissues such as the placenta, ovaries, and uterus. It is particularly abundant in vascular endothelial cells (EC) where it is stored in intracellular Weibel Palade bodies.
Manufacturer - Cross Reactivity	Centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile distilled water. Avoid vortex or vigorously pipetting the protein. For long term storage, it is recommended to add a carrier protein or stablizer (e.g. 0.1% BSA, 5% HSA, 10% FBS or 5% Trehalose), and aliquot the reconstituted protein solution to minimize free-thaw cycles.
