Storage	This antibody can be stored at 2C-8C for one month without detectable loss of activity. Antibody products are stable for twelve months from date of receipt when stored at -20C to -80C. Preservative-Free. Sodium azide is recommended to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%-0.1%). It is toxic to cells and should be disposed of properly. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.

Preparation	This antibody was produced from a hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, recombinant Human CMV gB (Catalog#10202-VCCH1; AAA45920.1) extracellular domain (Met 1-Lys 700) linked with the cytoplasmic domain (Arg 777-Val 907). The IgG fraction of the cell culture supernatant was purified by Protein A affinity chromatography.

No cross-reactivity	No cross-reactivity with Human cell lysate (293 cell line) in WB and ELISA.
Buffer	0.2 um filtered solution in PBS with 5% trehalose
ELISA	This antibody can be used at 0.5-1 ug/mL with the appropriate secondary reagents to detect gB. The detection limit for gB is approximately 0.039 ng/well.
Recommended WB Concentration	WB: 1-2 ug/mL
Recommended ELISA Concentration	ELISA: 0.5-1 ug/mL
