Bioactivity information	Glibenclamide (Glyburide) is an orally active ATP-sensitive K+ channel (KATP) inhibitor. Glibenclamide inhibits P-glycoprotein. Glibenclamide directly binds and blocks the SUR1 subunits of KATP and inhibits the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator protein (CFTR).
