The anti-Cytokeratin clone OSCAR demonstrates a broad spectrum of cytokeratin reactivity in immunoblotting. OSCAR is reactive with most epithelial types (in normal tissues) and with most carcinomas. This monoclonal Ab is used for the qualitative identification of Cytokeratin in human biological samples using immunohistochemistry (IHC) methods. The clinical interpretation of any staining or its absence should be complemented by morphological studies and proper controls and should be evaluated within the context of the patient's clinical history and other diagnostic tests by a qualified pathologist.
