Description	Thiols, compounds that contain sulfhydryl group, are powerful reducing agents capable of acting as antioxidants, enzyme cofactors, and neuromodulators. The SensoLyte® ABD-F Thiol Quantitation Assay Kit provides a convenient, sensitive fluorescent assay for measurement of thiol concentrations. 4-fluoro-7-aminosulfonylbenzofurazan (ABD-F), the reagent provided in the kit, generates yellow-green fluorescence upon reaction with thiols. Fluorescence can be monitored at excitation/emission=389 nm/513 nm.
