Description	This peptide is an inhibitor for Angiotensin I ConvertingEnzyme (ACE I), derived from Bradykinin. ACE I partially suppresses the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), which regulates blood pressure and may mediate hypertension. ACE I converts angiotensin I to the biologically active peptide angiotensin II using a zinc- and chloride- dependent mechanism.
