Description	This peptide belongs to caloxins, the extracellular plasma membrane (PM) Ca2+ pump inhibitors. Caloxin 3A1 inhibits plasma membrane calcium pumps (PMCAs) but not the sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+-pump. This peptide does not inhibit formation of the acylphosphate intermediate from ATP.
