Description	This peptide is Histone H4 (1-23). It is trimethylated at lysine 20 with a C-terminal GG linker, followed by a biotinylated lysine. Methylation of histone H4 at lysine 20 has a critical role in gene expression, cell cycle progression, and DNA repair. The trimethylation of histone H4 at lysine 20 maintains heterochromatin structures. Provided at >95% peptide purity, this peptide was dissolved in distilled water at 1 mg/ml and re-lyophilized to powder form.
