HiLyte Fluor 532 dyes are new members of our proprietary HiLyte Fluor series with fluorescence excitation and emission maxima of ca.545 nm and ca.565 nm, respectively. The dyes are based on a new class of cyanine dyes developed by AnaSpec scientists. Unlike traditional cyanine dyes, HiLyte Fluor 532 dyes are not only highly water-soluble, pH-insensitive but also photostable. HiLyte Fluor 532 is suited for the frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser line (Flow cytometry laser line: 532 nm; Microscopy laser line: 532 nm) and is a direct replacement for: Alexa Fluor 532, Atto 532. HiLyte Fluor 532 has Extinction Coefficient (M-1cm-1) = 171, 000 and Fluorescence quantum yield = 0.26.
