Description
Our Anti-CLN3 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N380/87. It detects human CLN3, and is TC supernatant. It is great for use in ICC, WB.
Target Description
Ceroid-lipofuscinosis neuronal protein 3, Battenin or CLN3 is encoded by the gene CLN3 and is a member of the CLN protein family. CLN3 is thought to be involved in intracellular trafficking and lysosomal function. Mutations in a CLN related gene can result in neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses or Batten disease, a group of rare, often fatal lysosomal storage diseases. CLN3 plays a role in the transport of late endosomes and lysosomes. CLN3 is widely expressed in tissues
Clonality
Monoclonal
Manufacturer - Specificity
Does not cross-react with other CLN proteins
Concentration
Lot dependent
Form
TC Supernatant
Buffer
Supernatant is provided in cell culture medium with 0.1% sodium azide as anti-microbial
Production Notes
Supernatant is harvested from hybridoma cells grown under standard cell culture conditions
Quality Control
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested on cells overexpressing target protein and confirmed to give the expected staining pattern.
Quality Control: Application
ICC
