Target Description
Zinc finger protein 746, Parkin-Interacting Substrate or PARIS/ZNF746 is encoded by the gene ZNF746. PARIS is a transcription repressor that binds to a consensus sequence on promoters and represses the expression of a transcriptional coactivator, PGC-1-alpha (PPARGC1A). This protein plays a role in regulation of neuron death. PARIS is found in the cytoplasm and nucleus
