Description
Our Anti-Neurexin-1-Beta (staining) mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N170A/1. It detects human and mouse Neurexin-1-Beta (staining), and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC, WB.
Target Description
Neurexin-1Beta is a member of the neurexin family. Neurexin-1Beta is a membrane bound receptor and binds neuroligins and forms complexes at neuronal synapses in the central nervous system. Binding parterns for Neurexin 1beta include CASK, Neuroligins 1-3 and DAG1. Neurexin-1Beta serves as a presynaptic marker and plays an important role in assembling presynaptic and postsynaptic machinery. This protein may be involved in cell recognition and cell adhesion by forming intracellular junctions through binding to neuroligins and possibly plays a role in synaptic junctions formation or maintenance.
Clonality
Monoclonal
Manufacturer - Specificity
Does not cross-react with Neurexin-2-Beta
Concentration
1 mg/mL
Form
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Buffer
10 mM Tris, 50 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.065% Sodium Azide pH 7.125
Production Notes
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
Quality Control
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested on cells overexpressing target protein and confirmed to give the expected staining pattern.
Quality Control: Application
ICC
