Description
Our Anti-NALCN mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N185/7. It detects mouse and rat NALCN, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ICC, WB.
Target Description
Sodium Leak Channel, Non-Selective is encoded by the gene NALCN. NALCN is a member of the cation-nonselective channel family. NALCN is a voltage-independent, cation-nonselective channel which is permeable to sodium, potassium, and calcium ions. NALCN regulates the resting membrane potential and controls neuronal excitability. NALCN is expressed in the brain, heart, and pancreas. Diseases associated with NALCN include Congenital Contractures of the Limbs and Face, Hypotonia, and Developmental Delay and Hypotonia, Infantile, with Psychomotor Retardation and Characteristic Facies 1.
Clonality
Monoclonal
Manufacturer - Specificity
No cross-reactivity reported
Concentration
1 mg/mL
Form
Purified by Protein A chromatography
Buffer
10 mM Tris, 50 mM Sodium Chloride, 0.065% Sodium Azide pH 7.125
Production Notes
Produced by in vitro bioreactor culture of hybridoma line followed by Protein A affinity chromatography. Purified mAbs are >90% specific antibody.
Quality Control
Each new lot of antibody is quality control tested by western blot on rat whole brain lysate and confirmed to stain the expected molecular weight band.
Quality Control: Application
WB Brain
Usage Statement
These antibodies are to be used as research laboratory reagents and are not for use as diagnostic or therapeutic reagents in humans.
Manufacturer - Statement
We produce our NALCN mouse monoclonal primary antibody from hybridoma clone N185/7. It is great in ICC, WB and is purified by Protein A chromatography.
