Description
Our Anti-Histone H3.3 mouse monoclonal primary antibody from NeuroMab is produced in-house from hybridoma clone N158/28. It detects human, mouse, and rat Histone H3.3, and is purified by Protein A chromatography. It is great for use in ELISA, IHC.
Target Description
H3 Histone Family Member 3B is encoded by the gene H3.3B. H3.3B is a member of the histone H3 family. H3.3B contains introns and its mRNA is polyadenylated. H3.3B is a variant histone H3, and is a replication-independent histone. H3.3B is deposited at sites of nucleosomal displacement throughout transcribed genes, suggesting that it represents an epigenetic imprint of transcriptionally active chromatin. H3.3B is expressed in 9 organs with the highest expression in the spleen. Diseases associated with H3.3B include Chondroblastoma, Clear Cell Chondrosarcoma, Bone Giant Cell Sarcoma, Malignant Giant Cell Tumor, and brain stem cancer.
